This refund policy applies to courses, eBooks, prompt packs, templates, coaching products, and any other digital products purchased through:
(Hereinafter referred to as "Your Research Coach".)
Our refund policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, and should be read together with those documents.
Please review this refund policy before making any purchase on our website.
1. Final and non-refundable purchase
Due to the nature of our digital products, all purchases made through Your Research Coach are final and non-refundable once access has been granted. We understand the importance of your investment in your education and professional development, so we encourage you to carefully review the description, the included modules, and the details of each product before completing your purchase. If you are unsure whether a product is right for you, please contact us before buying.
2. Immediate access and waiver of the 14-day cancellation right (UK and EU consumers)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and the equivalent EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase and receive a refund.
This right does not apply where the consumer has given express consent to begin receiving digital content before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, and has acknowledged that this consent results in the loss of the right to cancel.
By ticking the consent box at checkout, you expressly:
(a) request that Your Research Coach Ltd begins supplying the digital product to you immediately upon payment, before the end of the 14-day cancellation period;
(b) acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose your right to cancel the contract and receive a refund under the Regulations above.
If you do not wish to waive your 14-day cancellation right, please do not tick the consent box and do not complete your purchase. Access cannot be granted without this consent because all our products are delivered digitally and immediately.
3. Access to digital products
Once your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive immediate access to the digital product. This access is personal and non-transferable, and may not be shared, resold, or reproduced. Should you experience any difficulty in accessing the digital product, please contact us immediately so we can help you resolve the issue.
4. Technical problems
If you encounter technical problems accessing your digital product, such as login errors, broken video links, or download failures, please contact our support team using the details below. We will do our best to resolve the issue and ensure you can access the content you have paid for. Resolution of technical problems does not entitle you to a refund.
5. Duplicate purchases and payment errors
If you accidentally purchase the same product twice, or if a clear payment processing error has occurred, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction and we will review the case. Genuine duplicate purchases or processing errors may be refunded at our discretion.
6. Chargebacks
If a chargeback is raised with your card issuer or bank in relation to a purchase covered by this policy, we reserve the right to revoke access to the digital product and to dispute the chargeback with evidence of delivery and acceptance of these terms.
7. Modifications to the policy
Your Research Coach Ltd reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to your transaction. It is your responsibility to review the current policy before making a purchase.
